HERITAGE OF BOURNE

A film on DVD giving an insight into this historic market town through the lives of six famous sons, Hereward the Wake, Charles Frederick Worth, Raymond Mays, Robert Gardner, Robert Manning and Robert Mason Mills. Also featuring Bourne Wood. This disc has been produced by Helen Powell who also provides the commentary with contributions from top artist Charles Evans who paints watercolour drawing of Baldock's Mill, local historian Rex Needle, Brenda Jones (chairman, Bourne Civic Society), Jim Jones MBE (designer of the mill wheels), Dr Michael McGregor (biographer of Raymond Mays) and Lesley Evans (seamstress).

The DVD is being sold to benefit the town's three heritage organisations, Bourne Civic Society, Bourne Preservation Society and Bourne Arts and Community Trust.
